World Congress on Communication for Development (WCCD) -

Call for Abstracts and Proposals

Through the generous support of the Government of Italy, the World Bank’s Development Communication Division, in collaboration with
FAO and the Communication Initiative, is organizing the first World Congress on Communication for Development (WCCD) in March 2006 in
Rome, Italy.

As we want to ensure that the Congress showcases the wealth of innovative and creative work underway from around the world, we encourage abstracts and proposals to consider innovative and creative ways to present information and share knowledge using different technologies that encourage dialogue and exchange, consistent with the spirit of the discipline.

All submissions must be done until September 30, 2005 through the website http://www.devcomm-congress.org
